Flying In ... Get those passports ready!
Guests should plan to fly into Dublin Airport (DUB), which is the closest major airport to our venue.
Getting to Dundalk
Our wedding will be held at Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort in Dundalk, Co. Louth, about an hour north of Dublin. There are several easy ways to get there:
Car Rental: The most flexible option! Major rental companies are available at Dublin Airport. The drive to Dundalk takes about 1 hour via the M1 motorway.
Taxi / Uber: Taxis are available at the airport. While Uber operates in Ireland, it typically dispatches licensed taxis rather than private drivers.
Bus: Regular buses run from Dublin Airport and Dublin city center to Dundalk. Check services like Bus Éireann or Aircoach for schedules.
Train: Irish Rail offers trains from Dublin Connolly Station to Dundalk. From the train station, it’s just a short taxi ride to the hotel.
Pro Tip: If you’re planning to explore more of Ireland before or after the wedding, a rental car will give you the most freedom.

Since we’re celebrating in Ireland, we’re keeping our rehearsal dinner nontraditional, open and fun! Instead of a small private gathering, we’d love for all of our traveling guests to join us for a relaxed evening to enjoy an authentic Irish experience with great food, a pint (or two!), and plenty of lively atmosphere as we kick off the wedding weekend together!
